Ordering Our Reviews for Publication
You want to include book reviews in your publication, online or in print, but don’t have a book editor, or don’t have the time to filter through all the publicist emails, looking for books that fit your market and finding a reviewer who can get it back to you on deadline.
San Francisco Book Review is making its reviews available for syndication. Everything is prepared for you, from a review already completed, to a print-quality cover image in color or black-and-white, author attribution, price, and page count. All you have to do is cut and paste it into your layout.
SFBR reviews 200 books a month, in more than 30 categories, ranging from Modern Literature to Business & Investing. Review length is between 130 words to more than 400, but most average about 200. They are personable, entertaining, and helpful. Whether you need just a couple a month, or want to produce a book review section each week or month, SFBR can provide you the content you want, at a price you can justify.

Why Have A Book Review?
Many of our categories open up new advertising opportunities for newspapers. A Travel book section attracts travel and cruise agencies. Business & Investing brings financial advisors and business consultants. Creating a page for book reviews that does two or three categories each week, can be a value to the community, and SFBR can make that a turn-key operation for you, and give you new advertisers or reasons for regular advertisers to increase their visibility.
Who Cares About Book Reviews?
Readers of newspapers are also more likely to read books. By providing a regular book review in your paper, you’re telling your readers that you value their interests, and that your paper is committed to literacy and reading. SFBR can make that easier, reviewing hundreds of books across all genres. We can also provide special sections on a monthly or quarterly basis.
To order individual reviews or monthly review columns, email – info@1776productions.com or call Heidi Komlofske at 916-503-1776.
Newspaper chains pay the rate for total readership, regardless of the number of editions that run the reviews.
Please note, if you purchase a review, you are agreeing to pay for the review, even if you end up not using it.
